The annual Bronto Summit wrapped up last week in Miami, FL.
Our sales team went out to meet all fellow Bronto Summit attendees, soak up some rays, and listen to awesome keynotes. They’ve come back enviably tan and excited to share what they learned. We keep saying 2015 is the year of mobile, and the focus doesn’t seem to be dying down. The sessions and keynotes this year focused heavily on omni-channel, with the mobile experience at the forefront. With that in mind, our team headed down to Miami.
Hello, Miami! We’re lucky to be based in sunny Santa Monica, but tropical Miami offered a nice change of pace. The first day of the Bronto Summit gave marketers the opportunity to do a deep dive into the many features that the Bronto software offers.
It’s only Day 2 and we’re already feeling the love. We’re proud to have been a sponsor for the summit this year.
A major highlight at the summit was hearing Seth Godin, the marketing and entrepreneurial guru. Seth reminded marketers that the old notions of solving problems that customers don’t really have won’t work in this day and age. Real value has to be created in marketing, because selling to the masses or average people isn’t interesting or effective. Seth encouraged marketers to be remarkable, creative, and revolutionary in his inspirational keynote. Attendees came away from the keynote with additional insights:
Alexis Maybank, co-founder and Strategic Advisor of Gilt brought the focus back to our favorite topic: customer retention and personalization. She showed marketers how to market specifically to the individual, and what expertise is needed to stay on the cutting edge of marketing.
Lisa Butler, Head of Enterprise Solutions at Ebay inspired Brontos to put more effort into creating a great omni-channel experience for customers.
As the third day of the Summit came to a close, attendees flocked to the white sand and warm waters of Nikki Beach. We worked together with Bronto to throw the coolest party of the Summit, if we do say so ourselves – check out our highlights! Check out Retention Science’s very own sandcastle masterpiece. It was so beautiful, we wish we could have taken it back to the office!
Bronto Summit started wrapping up with the State of Bronto Address by COO Chaz Felix, followed by a few more great breakout sessions. We’re especially thrilled to hear Chaz announce that Bronto has expanded to LA, right in our neighborhood. After the final breakout sessions, it was time to head home. We already can’t wait for next year!
